Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the storage, retrieval, and resale services provided by Saint Bøxik ("we", "us", "our"), operating in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services
Saint Bøxik provides:
- Store: Secure collection and storage of your personal items in climate-controlled facilities in Dubai.
- Retrieve: On-demand delivery of your stored items back to your location within Dubai.
- Sell: Assistance in listing and selling items you no longer need.
All services are subject to availability, operational capacity, and acceptance by Saint Bøxik.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of or visitor to the UAE to use our services. By placing an order, you confirm you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
4. Item Restrictions
The following items are prohibited from storage:
- Hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials.
- Perishable food or organic matter.
- Illegal substances or items prohibited under UAE law.
- Live animals or plants.
- Firearms, weapons, or ammunition.
- Items with a combined value exceeding our insurable limit without prior arrangement.
We reserve the right to refuse any item at our discretion.
You confirm that you are the legal owner of all items stored or have full authority from the owner to store, sell, or handle such items.
5. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are quoted in AED and are inclusive of VAT (5%) where applicable.
- Storage fees are billed on a monthly basis unless otherwise agreed.
- Payment is due in advance for each storage period.
- We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and other methods as communicated.
- Late payments may incur additional charges as outlined in your service agreement.
- We reserve the right to suspend access, retrieval, or delivery services in case of overdue payments.
- All payments made are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Pickup & Delivery
- Pickup and delivery times are estimates and subject to availability.
- You must ensure someone is present at the agreed location during scheduled pickup/delivery windows.
- Missed appointments may be subject to a rebooking fee.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control (traffic, weather, access restrictions).
- You are responsible for ensuring safe and lawful access to the pickup and delivery location. Any delays or additional costs arising from access restrictions, building rules, or lack of preparation may be charged to you.
7. Liability & Insurance
- Items are stored at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted under UAE law, our liability (if any) shall be limited to the lower of: (a) the declared value of the item; or (b) the applicable insurance coverage (if purchased). We are not responsible for loss of profit, loss of value, or sentimental value.
- We are not liable for damage caused by acts of God, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control.
- Optional insurance coverage is available and recommended for high-value items.
- Claims must be submitted within 7 days of item retrieval.
8. Cancellation & Retrieval
- You may cancel your storage plan at any time with 30 days' written notice.
- Items must be retrieved within 14 days of cancellation, after which additional storage fees apply.
- Uncollected items after 30 days of non-payment may be classified as abandoned. In such cases, we reserve the right to sell, dispose of, or donate the items to recover outstanding fees, storage costs, and administrative expenses, in accordance with applicable UAE laws. The Client waives any claim over such items once classified as abandoned.
9. Resale Service
- Items listed for sale are done so at an agreed price between you and Saint Bøxik.
- A commission fee applies to successful sales, as communicated prior to listing.
- We do not guarantee the sale of any item or a specific timeframe for sale.
- Unsold items can be returned to storage or retrieved at your request.
- You confirm that all items submitted for resale are authentic, legally owned, and free from any third-party claims or encumbrances.
- We reserve the right to remove or delist any item at our discretion.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes shall be resolved through the Dubai Courts, unless both parties agree to alternative dispute resolution (e.g., DIAC arbitration).
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Right of Retention
We reserve the right, to the extent permitted by UAE law, to retain possession of stored items until all outstanding payments and charges are fully settled.
